Which Airline??

Travel Forums Australia / New Zealand & The Pacific Which Airline??

Hi guys,
I am travelling to Perth next March, & I have always flown with Singapore Airlines, however, this time I thought I would try Emirates as they are quite alot cheaper than Singapore. Has anyone flown with Emirates that can recommend them, or not. I am just wondering why they are so much cheaper, over £100 difference.( more beer money for me);)
Thanks in advance,

Yes, Emirates is quite recommended. (I used them flying back and forth between Australia and New Zealand.) Good service and quality, and every seat has its own tiny tv screen with large-ish selection of movies and games, if you care for such things.
They're cheap because they're relatively new to the market, and actively trying to increase their market share with tactics just a shade away from price dumping.

Wow, Sander, that was a quick reply, Thank You.
Well, if you have used them on a few occasions, then they must be ok. Thanks again.:)

Although they were ok, I didn't use them because they were ok (and so it wouldn't be a valid conclusion that they were ok because I used them more than once). :) I used them because they were consistently the cheapest non-cattle-class airline. (As far as I'm concerned, all airlines suck and flying is a horrible hell of hours upon hours of boredom, only worth going through because of the places on the other side.) :)

Also, friendly warning, hold off a bit on linking to other websites (specifically that pomsinoz one) until you're more of a regular member on this website, as now you're very close to giving the impression that promoting those other websites is the main reason for being here, which is considered spam and against the forum rules.

I flew to Sydney with Gulf Air because the price of the ticket was affordable. Was pretty okay, seats had more legroom, but the food wasn't great.
