Hi guys. ME and a few friends are planning on spending about a week having a quick hop around a few contries. This is our plan, fly to Prague, stay a few nights, then bus/train to Bratislava, again a few nights, maybe a day trip to Vienna (if possible??) then make our way back upto Prague. Or maybe fly to Salzburg, stay a night, train upto Vienna for a day (maybe night depending on time)then into Bratislava few days, then train/bus upto Prague for few days then fly home.
We're only going for maybe 7 or 8 days, so do you firstly think this is possible with the travelling in between? SEcondly anyone know the times and prices of buses/trains in between the places i mentioned? And thirdly do you have any ideas of prices for food and drink in each city?
Any other recommendations/suggestions would be cool too?
Try this link - http://jiznirady.atlas.cz/JRCis.asp?tt=c&cl=E5
Here you can get timetables and ticket prices for buses, trains and planes within the Czech Republic and between Czech and other countries. Public transport within the country is very cheap.
Thankyou for the reply, but unfortunately the link didnt work
Sorry about that! Try going to http://www.myczechrepublic.com/links/travel/transportation.html and click on Czech republic Bus & Train schedules.
you will find a lot of information on this site about travelling round the czech Republic.
when in Poland, you should definitely visit Belarus. I have just been there 20.07-31.07 and I should say the country is great.
Nature is great and natural foods (and drinks) help to relax a lot. I was served by AKSM travel agency and the service was impeccable.
