Hi there,
Im travelling to thailand in november then on to cairns at the start of december.Ive read this is the wet season and heavy rainfall and high temperatures are common not to mention GULP!! fcukin cyclones...
Has anyone been to cairns around teh above time and can you tell me if its a bad time to go??

Help greatly appreciated

i havent been, but i do know (from a friend who has been) that its summer so it will be VERY hot. dont forgot your sunnies and your sun tan:)

Hey Dave -

You'll be looking at 30-40 degrees during the day and about 20-25 degrees at night in Cairns during December and January, with humidity of 75%.
Cyclones aren't that common an occurence!
But look on the bright side - you'll only need to pack singlets and shorts so you'll be able to travel very light!!!
