Hi there,

I am a 30 yr old male from the USA heading to Myanmar for around 3 weeks in October/November. No real firm plans yet, but I'm hoping to make it to Bangkok (from Borneo) by at least October 15. I may need a few days in BKK to sort out the visa (unless I can sort it from here before I leave) so I guess that would put me heading to Myanmar sometime around October 18. I have to fly back home out of BKK on Nov. 12.

If anybody already has plans to be there at around that time, or if anybody fancies getting off the beaten trail a bit in SEA, drop me a pm.

Not too picky about young/old, male/female; but a fairly adventurous sort would be nice.

Hi Andrew (and/or anybody else),

It's looking pretty definite that I'll be heading to Myanmar somewhere in the neighborhood of Oct. 15-18. The sticky issue is whether I'll be able to get the visa before I leave for SE Asia, as my passport is currently in the hands of the Feds being renewed. It's looking pretty good that I will have it sorted before I leave, but if I am not able to, then I will have to do it in Bangkok over that same time period.

So that's where I'm at; even if you're just around Bangkok feel free to drop me a pm.

I've recently been weighing up a short trip across to Myanamar around that time. I'm currently in Laos and have been doing the Indochina loop thing for the last couple of months and wouldnt mind doing something a little different and more exiciting. I know this is a bit of an old post but if any of you are still thinking of going to Burma around this time give me a shout if you want. I'm a 22 year old English guy and pretty easy going.
