I am moving to Senlis (a small place near Paris) in september for a year. Lately I read a few things about WiFi (wireless internet) and that there are cafes where you can access the internet for free if your notebook is wifi compatible... I just wanted to know if someone knows about those places and can give me tips how to find them or how to use it. I also wouldnt mind to know places where you pay and can get internet access but with your own notebook... I am not sure if my host family has internet and I would like to stay in touch with family and friends...
Thanks a lot in advance ^_^
visit these websites :
It's in french, but it's not very hard to understand, there's a map with all wifi cafe in paris on the first.
But don't forget...there's nothing free in Paris.
In Senlis there's a place where you could connect to Internet.
The cafe "Dolce Vita".
The address : 26 Avenue De Creil. 60300 Senlis.
However it's not free
Oh thanks a lot... Yeh, i already realised you get nothing for free :P
Great, I hope I wont live too far from the Cafe Dolce Vita... ^_^
Thanks a lot ^_^
Greetings from Austria!
Think Paris should be covered completely with a wifi netwerk. I found the information on www.ozone.net which would mean that you have internet access anyware with a laptop. It was a very usefully tip (among others) that I got from some locals in Paris to whom I was connected through -snip the Paris section is becoming bigger and bigger.

If u wish to dine on fine American cuisine AND use free wifi - most Macdonalds in Paris seem to have free wifi
Thanks a lot for all your answers ^_^
Now I just got one more questions... I am stupid with computer, and like I said I only heard about this wifi stuff... How can I actually use this... i need to sign up somewhere, or anyhting like that? It may be a silly questions, but its just not really common where I live, so I got basically no idea lol.
Thanks once more
