Hey I'm looking for a crash course in Spanish that goes for a week. In Santiago (Chile).

Any recommendations, etc?

Woodward, mate. Find it on the I-net.

Yeah that place looks decent. Have you been there your self, is it as good as it looks on the website?

Do you think that after a week I'll have enough spanish skills to get by?

And I've heard that the spanish in Chile is slightly different to everywhere else in SA. Did you find this to be a problem?

Hi Benny,

two hostels in Santiago,´La Chimba´ and the ´Bella Vista´ offer a one-week intensive traveller´s Spanish course. This consists of five two-hour evening sessions and two weekend sessions of five hours each. OK, so you´re not going to become fluent in a week, but believe me - it helped us lots!

Hi,

Well...to be honest...yes, we Chileans speak very fast cutting the word endings, etc....but if you manage to understand us....you'll be able to understand any other Spanish accent. It's not that terrible.

The place I recommended you is owned by a kiwi guy. Serious and nice people.

Good luck.
