Aussie83 has indicated that this thread is about USA

My partner and I are travelling to these places and are looking for:

budget accomodations (clean and in good location not fancy)

any suggestions on "must sees" as we will only be spending a few days in each place.

Don't know much about the other cities but Las Vegas is one of my favorites. "Must sees" in Las Vegas are the hotels. Just walk around the hotels and you will definitely have an eyeful. You can wing it once you're in the hotel. There are amusement parks, restaurants, shopping malls, displays, and shows galore. People often recommend catching a show while in town, so that would be a "must see" if that's your cup of tea. You can get a lot of different types of shows, like magic, concerts, sigfried and roy... don't know if that's still on what with the recent events. But Cirque du Soleil is very highly acclaimed and if you don't mind spending the 200 USD for a show, then Mystère is the show to see. It's supposed to be one of their best shows, although I haven't had the priviledge of seeing it. And although it's not in your itinirary, a trip to the Grand Canyon would be a shame to avoid. But that definitely depends on budget and time.

That was a tad vague but you will see that once you're in Las Vegas, everything is the THING to see. One thing I will say is try to see the most hotels you can. I only made it as far as Caeser's Palace, and never got to see The Venetian and Treasure Island, which I will be visiting next time I go. The general concensus among Las Vegas visitors is that 3 to 4 days is enough to see all you need to see. Get ready to be blown away!

Good luck!
