So Del, how many more Canadian teams are going to re-locate to the southern US? Seems like there have been some serious defections to hot climates. And really, Gretzky as coach of Phoenix? My how times change........

but wouldn't you fall over loads, the studs wouldn't be able to dig in unless they were sharpened.
Now come to think of it, i'm liking that idea - extreme hockey on ice, with shaprened studs

Just goes to show that Kiwis don't know how to skate, let alone how to play hockey! Unless you want to include field or broom hockey...

May not, but we can play the fool, drink beer, play rugby, have a sing along and genrally have a fun time

See you Kiwi's and Aussies are so similar to us Canadians yet so different at the same time...

We do all those things except Rugby!!

why did the hockey players come to an agreement with the league?...we had such nice hockey games here in Europe...

now there is an interesting sport hockey crossed with rugby league....

In season 2004/05 there was the NHL player lockout. Most of the North American players came over to Europe...and almost every small village club had a famous player...

(HC Davos for example had 3 NHL-cracks: Joe Thornton, Rick Nash and Niklas Hagman)

Are you talking about Hockey or Ice Hockey?
