Another Question

Travel Forums Travel Gear Another Question

So...I posted a question in the "Europe" forum about packing for winter...and whether I was completley out to lunch on what to bring.

Another question I have is this....(it's probably really stupid): what do you all wear that needs ironing all the time?? The only clothes in my closet that need ironing are blouses & dress pants & work skirts....and obviously someone isn't going to bring "work clothes" with them on holiday....

SO i guess my question is what exactly are people wearing that needs ironing regularily that they may bring on holiday with them??

Oh, and if you could answer my quesion on what to pack for Europe in the winter that would be super lovely!

THanks.

I always try to bring as less clothes as possible that need ironing on travels. Especially after I lost a shirt due to bad ironing in a laundrette in Berlin...

for europe, a must bring is a beanie for your head, they got really cold winds up there and you want your head to be warm, being a girl though and not wanting to mess up your head, maybe a pair of ear muffs then. something for your head though for sure. and a water proof jacket as it rains a lot.

I wish someone had answered your question about what they're dragging along that needs ironing so much. Now I'm curious.;)

...ironing? i didn't know people did that on trips. i only met one person that asked me that question, he was visiting canada from the states (so not much of a culture shock), and at the time, was slightly intoxicated. just wear what you wear, and mind what time of year you're going (and where you're going precisely). summers are hotter and winters are colder (more or less). waterproof or quick drying shoes are always good though. :)

Iron? What's an Iron?

I think I have a tendancy to break out in a rash every time I go near an iron.... hoorah for microfiber!

That's a damned good question. Or perhaps Why is a better question.
Admittedly you can probably tell, but i've never used an iron in my entire life, so struggle to understand how people feel the desperate need to take stuff that requires ironing if just away for a few weeks/months.
