I realise similiar threads have been posted in the past but just wondered if anyone had any fresh ideas or experiences to share concerning jobs in Buenos Aires. Teaching English sounds like a very popular yet controversial option - a lot of mixed reports. I haven't got any teaching qualifications or experience but it seems that doesn't matter too much. I basically need a way to earn a bit of money and pass time for three months while i live it up in BA, can any one help with suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
You could always check out the Irish/English bars around the city. They usually like having an authentic countryman behind the bar! Its a great way to meet ppl too and learn Spanish
Samsara's suggestion is pretty much the only one worth trying, but even then... better forget about finding smt. Employment is stil pretty bad in BsAs, and I don't wanna be rude, but really no-one is waiting for yet another foreigner to further spoil the employment market. Make sure that you earn enough before leaving, which, given the rates of the peso compared to the pound, is really quite easy.
absolutly right bentivogli!
and would somebody like to work for a few cents per hour?
People forget that in "cheap"countrys the labour is mostly very low.
I PM'd you a message about English teaching there and the experience i had while doing it. Any further questions you can PM me.
