Me again folks!

Does anyone know of any websites that have a decent list of routes travellers take through countries so that if I do not find a companion before I travel I am more likely to while out on the road???

Hi J
STA travel website and travel mood are good for looking at routes. is another good site, it's also good for looking up other people planning to travel.

I'm planning on going alone but have talked to a few people doing a similar sort of trip so may meet up with some of them on the way.

I wouldn't worry about meeting people while you are travelling you'll make plenty of friends, quite a few people seem to travel on their own.

I came on my own to Oz 6 weeks ago and it's so easy get to know people through staying in hostels, the smaller ones are where it's easier get to know people. Where are ye travelling to?

Hiya guys - thanks for the replies so far.....very helpful!!!

Shaw - I'll check those sites out over teh weekend for sure....cheers mate.

Thea - I think I'm going (rough itinerary):

I'm just a little concerned about being in Thailand on my own and not being able to understand much!!! If I was going straight to Oz I would feel a bit easier cos at least I could understand signs etc etc! :^)
I know hostels can be booked on here so you reckon the smaller the better and I should meet up with fellow single travellers?
