1. We will be arriving in Johannesburg on Friday 17th November c. 10am, I would like to organise a trip to Kruger Park for 3 days/2 nights. Given the possibility of flight delays etc. is this something which could be organised when we arrive on the 17th? Are there any particular tour companies which you would recommend. We plan to fly to Port Elizabeth on Sunday afternoon (either 4.55 or 7.50 flights).
2. We plan to drive from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town stopping off two nights en route. Are therte any particular places we should stop off for the night.
for the second question. The garden route is my favourite part of Saffa land. I like going to Jeffreys bay outside kids holiday as it´s a holiday town. Good place to go shopping at the billabong shop.
About 30 km noth from georges-Blanco you have a small town called houshorn(not sure of the spelding) Austrich farm, stop at the jemina sister resturant where you can sample delicious food.
Plettenburg bay is quite good a bit hilly but so nice.
Hermanus is you are there during the whales season.
Please can i come Have a great time.
I have a nice guesthouse in Blanco if you need it.

three days/two nights from Joburg to Kruger and back is a MISSION. it'll take a good part of the day to get to the park in the first place (closest gate about 400 k's, road leads partly through mountains). For three days in the park itself, you need five days and spend the first night just outside the park. (trust me, I tried. Left at 8am, only got to Komatiport at 4.30pm)
I wouldn't know any touroperators, as we did it ourselves (much cheaper)
So, if you really want to enjoy the park: take your time!
Thanks demian, I have to learn something new everyday. Shame I cant remember them. HEHEHEHEH
