amigo has indicated that this thread is about India

We are a family of four traveling to India in December. We have 20 travel days to play with. Want to see as much as possible but on a budget. Any recommended tour companies? Want to definitely see the Delhi area, a short trip to perhaps Kathmandu and a flight or train south if possible for a week or so on a nice beach somewhere. Doable? Any recommendations are welcome and appreciated.
Thanks!
P.S. traveling from Japan, so would also appreciate budget air recommendations.

Hi
your travel plan seems to be nice. I guess 20 days is good, if you manage to cross the country frm noth to south by any domestic airline. There are a chocie of cheap airlines operatin these days like www.airdeccan.net, www.spicejet.com, www.goair.in ..etc.

I would suggest you to have a trip Kerala while travelling to south. Google 'Kerala' and you would get some valuble information on this tropical paradise. My favorite is a village called 'Kuzhupilly' which is 24 km from Cochin. This village is very unique with the lagoons, backwaters, shrimp farms and a long strech of golden sandy beach.
There is a beach house here run by the Kuruvilla's family which the most popular and only accomodation in this region. An ideal place if you are looking out for little off-beat non commercial place. The people in the village are mostly fishermen and amazingly friendly.

Wishing you a great vaccation.
Cheers
