G'day,

I have a dilemma with Brazilian visas - I am going through Brazil twice on my trip through SA.

I first plan to enter Brazil through the Pantanal via Bolivia in December. I will then be back for Carnival in Feb. I have been told by the Brazilian Embassy in Australia that the visa is valid for 90 days from the initial entrance into the country – I will be back to Brazil within the 90 days, so I shouldn’t have a problem getting back in, but I will stay in the country longer than my visa permits. I then fly out of Rio – New York – do they check your visa on departure?

Sorry for the confusion laid out above - I hope someone can understand it an offer some feedback.

Cheers

Shaun

Go to the next federal police station (Policia Federal) bevor ending the 90 days, you can along your visa for more 90 days

be sure to get a multiple entry visa as often when you don't ask for it they issue a single entry visa.
