Travel Forums Asia Which Thai Island for Xmas?!?!?!

My travel companions and I are making our way to SE Asia at the start of November with the plan to spend Christmas and New Year on one of the Thai Islands..... The question is which one?!?!? (Oh, what a hard decision to make.... i'm sure they are all fantastic!)

I have never ventured to that part of the world before and out of the three of us going, only one has been to Thailand before.

Anyone's views and opinions will be of a great help!!!!

Cheers,

Lucy :)

I hear a lot of people head for the Phi Phi islands for xmas/nye celebrations, I've only been in Feb/March, but I can see why people would want to party there, it's beautiful & there's lots going on. Bare in mind Phi Phi is a small island, therefore there will be limited acommadation especially in the peak season, so it maybe an idea to arrange acommadation in advance.

Koh Samui, Tao & Phangan are other possibilities.

Enjoy!:)

Have a look for details on the full moon party on Koh Phangan for new year, looks like a cool party
