hey guys,

on my way from amsterdam to paris, i have five hours to spend in brussels. i come and leave by bus. any suggestion on how to spend this time. i will have my backpack so might not be able to walk around so much or do they have facilities at the eurolines bus stations to keep luggage.

my interests are food, greenery/lakes, colourful things and [museums also but will drop this as i will be having a lot of this in amsterdam and paris].

a rough idea of budget will be very helpful.

Well, you should defenetly see the 'Grand Place' (historical buildings, veeeery beautiful) and Manneke Pis which is only a bit further. Just a few streets away, you can find the main shoppingstreets/centers, pubs, restaurants etc. If possible in time, you should also see the 'Atomium', (it's renovated now!) but to get there you need to take the tube.
I think these 3 are the main attractions you could be able to visit in 5 hours. But it also depends where your bus stops...?

What day are you coming? I work in Brussels....;)
You can send me a message if you want to.
Grz, Namaste

Grand palace is must and also Manekan Pis (near to Grand Palace). If you still have time, you can go to Mini Europe (miniature models of all the main attractions in Europe) and Atomium. Bothe are side by side.
