I've still not heard anything back from them regarding getting it for cheaper....damn! However, I'll update the board if we get anything off the price in the coming months!
Welcome to Russia! Enjoy the craziest place in the world
I went to Uganda, around 8 years ago. There was a war on there. People said i could avoid the war if i listen to the news everyday, and find out where it now is. When i got to the capital of Uganda(cant remember the name of it). I took a boat to some remote islands on a lake(i think it was called lake Victoria). The war never reached there. I suppose that is because people like to fight a war, in comfort. There was no electricity or running water. There was only one phone line, on the island, and it took around 20 tries, to dial the mainland. It is not like there was a shortage of food, but the cook at the guesthouse where i stayed allowed a lot of ants and spiders, into the cooking pot, while she cooked. luckily, dinner was always after dark, and the ligtbulb powered by a car battery did not give enough light to examine the food too closely. It allowed one to pretend.
The boats to take one on and off the islands were probably as dangerous as any war. My friend and i hired a private boat(we missed the once per day boat, that was not private) to get off the Islands. We had to bail water out of it, the whole journey, and worry about the tornado in the distance.
Thats sounds a pretty mad experience Mel!
Yeah. A few degress madder then the other parts of Uganda i went to. And that is saying something.
