Jennica has indicated that this thread is about Cambodia

We travelling in SE Asia from two months in this summer and we are wondering our route choices there..
Can we get to Cambodia straight from Laos or is the border crossings only from Thailands side? And if so, then are the only border in the middle or can you cross the border also from the south part of Cambodia (somewhere near the beaches)? What is the easiest/cheapest way?

I have travelled quite a lot in Thailand and most of the known places (Ko Phangan, Phi Phi, Ciang Mai, Ko Chang etc.) have being already seeing, so if somebody could share a tip about some (new) place which isn't so crowded or is otherwise worth visiting for, please let me know! I haven't beeing to Similan Islands yet. I heard it's beutiful but expensive. Is it worth it?
Other good tips to Laos and Cambodia is also very welcomed!

BIG thanks to everyone who can help!

A good idea would be to take a look at the Tales of Asia website (www.talesofasia.com) has plenty of info on the above. But in a nutshell, you can cross from Laos to Cambodia. There are now at least four crossings between Cambodia and Thailand - the coastal one is via Ko Kong.

Hope that helps
