Hi all,

Ive just been shopping for some last minute stuff for my rtw and had a question to ask you all. I was in Millets (UK) and found a mozzy contraption that ran on butane and apparently repels flying vampires for up to 20 feet. Does it work? has anyone had any experience of these? Im a bit wary of forking thirty quid for a glorified gas dispenser... Any views?

I think it depend on where you are going. If you spending much of your time in the "bush" then its probably very handy. otherwise I would just go for the "normal" repellent.

"Skin so soft" from Avon !!

you may add a little bit water.
It helps fantastic and will not irritaet your skin like many repellents do.
We use it mostly here on the island.
an other good one is "OSI" Repellent with Aloe Vera, Cream or Spray. The Cream is the better one for your skin and it keeps the Moskito longer away from you then the spray.

"Skin so soft" is supposed to be the best thing for repelling midges here in Scotland. I'm not sure how popular it is with the farmers though . . .
