Ol' Stevo may have driven a lot of people nuts with his antics and, what some considered, a reckless type of behavior around very dangerous creatures - but the antics made him interesting and he was truly far from being reckless. He captivated people with his love of everything and his deep appreciation for the animals around us.

One of our networks interviewed a psychologist, having him explain the "thrill-seeking, (un-necessary) risk-taking" behavior of the "adrenaline junkie" who always has to do more and more dangerous things to satisfy their needs. He clearly felt Irwin fell into this catagory, behaving irresponsibly. It pissed me off!!

It's people, such as Steve Irwin, who get others interested and involved, especially children. He will be missed and the animal kingdon has lost one of their biggest supporters!

Our sympathies to his family and friends.
