In January i'm planning to start my trip to South America. To get to know the county's and their people better I want to combine my traveling with Volunteering work. Staying in places for 2, 3 weeks and then go to another place.
Are there any places / organisations wich i need to avoid or really need to go?
And do i need to take care of everything before i leave or can i just find volunteering work when i'm there?

Hi Frank,

Consider paying Joho a visit in one of their offices (Leiden/Amsterdam). They're quite knowledgeable.

I worked with this organization in Ecuador, I had a great experience in my project, if you are thinking to visit Ecuador, this is a good option, in addition they offer free and low cost projects.
