Quoting Gelli

For some countries, it is, yes. And certain embassies will refuse visa's on such grounds, even if that countries official policy doesn't.

I remember Tanzania required 3 empty pages, though they only ended up using two pages in my passport. Maybe I'm just easier than most. ;)

Hello Lost again.
I never managed to fill all my passport pages, even with all the travelling i do. The biggest visas take up a page. And visas as big as this are not, for most countries. How many countries will u visit? If u really want to be safe, leave one page for each visa.
U can however, order a passport, with more pages than usual, when u get a new one. That is what i did, last time, just in case.

Actually, Only the Americans and a relatively small handful of assorted random countries allow this. No EU country, for example, allows extra pages to be added. It's a new passport or don't travel...

I am on my 4th passport since 1998 (the firt on due to run out in September next year)the first three are full of stamps, as I have a valid visa in the first one still (Saudi Multiple entry valid for 10 years - very rare I know) the lovely British Embassy in Dubai keep attaching new passports (the last three have 100 pages in each) to each other. When i go to a check in desk the check in staff always ask how many are traveling - I smile and answer just me! The American Embassy will add pages to your passport if you are away from the USA.

I have full page visas for: Saudi, Syria, Egypt (multiple Entry), China, Zimbabwae, Australia (3 of them, although no longer required as the airline arrange them so you just get a stamp), Qatar, (multiple entry x 5) UAE (Residence Visa x 4) - the reason for my stamps, prior to the UAE having E-gate cards I was collecting up to 8 (sometimes more) a week as despite have a UAE residence, everytime you leave you get one and another on your return, and same thing for Qatar and Bahrain (I used to go every week) you would get one on entry and one on departure even if you are there for a day.

Basically, you will be fine! I am looking forward to my Saudi Visa running out so I can get rif of three passports, although I am not sure as the Passport Office clearly stamp on each new passport that the new one is only valis when produced with the old due to valid visas. Lets see once the valid visa is no lnger valid.

Regarding stamping, I have them all over the place, over each other, some you cannot read especally the UAE ones - I used to ask immigration to stamp over the old ones!

As far as i know on here - I am third on the list of countries most visited (according to travleogs) but I may just have more stamps in my passport than anyone else.. I have not seen anyone with more and have been asked by strangers if they have seen it to browse through it!

It is a bit special I guess - my own travelog in 4 books (one according to the British Embassy)
