Well said, Purdy. Not every thread needs to turn into the 'Mikey and Jase One-Liner show'.

I am member of the Irish Livinghistory forum and also look at certain threads on the Empire website and IMDB, if I want to know more about certain movies.

There are forums out there for anything, no matter how weird it is.

My, my, my.... I haven't even finished thread-checking and look what i have found...

I understand the fun in one-liners (guilty too) and how easily a thread can be jacked - even unintentionally. But, China2006 has made a reasonable request and I think she deserves reasonable answers. So please, let's keep this one a bit more on track. Thank you.

I'm afraid I'm addicted to TP and don't visit too many other forums. Like Pardus, I do visit IMDB frequently. Though occassionally, I will do a search of someone I know and take a look at the forums they visit. Most of them are travel-related.

Sorry Isa . . . (suitably berated)

I signed up to a guitar forum recently but it's not as good as TP and it's impossible to find your way around, the layout is so bad. TP is really easy to navigate. (Can i come back into the good books now?)

I don't really use other forums. Google is my search engine of choice.

we were trying to have a good thread conversation, but the moderators led the way in the hijacking stakes.
But i subscribe to motorbike threads.

I used to go onto for guitar sheet music, but they've ended up in a legal dispute because they don't pay or charge. What a crock.

Free the internet! Stick it to the man!

Not that I'm addicted to forums or so, but I try to visit these all at least once a week, some daily. The below three forums are forums where I am moderator or co-admin, so I am more or less obliged to visit daily...

As for travelling forums: which of the named forums (including this one) would you rate best regarding jobhunting abroad and emigrating to different countries?
