Saw in the Metro paper that Zachary Richard is playing 1 song at the Leonard Cohen tribute at the Jazz Fest opening tonight.

Hmm... Dragon boat, Zachary Richard, Dragon boat, Zachary Richard...

I've not seen dragonboating but I have seen Richard. I vote for Zach even for one song.

I found out that one of my oldest and best friends, who has smoked since she was 16, gave up completely a week ago. After a lifetime's nicotine, just like that. A dark horse she is - said not a word, did it on her own. I'm rooting for her, as this is such a vulnerable time, but I'm so happy and proud of her.

And was l always singing (l know l tend too but l didnt think l was loud enough for anyone to hear!!) ? Oh l dont know which one is my favourite!!!! Thank you again so much!

And thank you so so much for the 2 scarves - more for my collection - you are helping my addiction! Way too much but really really appreciated!!

And loving the card

Purdy now sits back with a glass of pinot noir and listens again to her CDs!!

Now, wasn't it better just listening and then looking???

You are very welcome!!!! We're happy you are enjoying them!! And, no, you weren't that loud - it was hard to hear you over my own (out-of-tune) singing. (I always think I'm singing softly too - nope.) Enjoy and same time next year - wherever that may be - somewhere with a beach.

Oh, and wild is subjective.

To be the champion of lost causes
To be the cutter of the losses
Or just to let sleeping dogs lay
I might be worse for wear
But darlin' I don't care
I'm going back to Salome...

When you and I are sitting in the 2 seats where's Beerman going to sit? Or does it have a rumble seat trunk?

I think we are going to have to tie Beerman on to the bonnet - cos l think its only 2 seats!! I will have to wait until August to see!!!
