...a walk with the dog along the canal...

So, a meeting of the minds? Or did you just snarl back and he got the idea? ;)

We've cut a deal, and he's no longer giving me the evils and now likes me - it could be to do with the fact that l keep giving him bits of food off my plate mind you l'm not sure!

Buying affection with food works for dogs, that's for sure. But don't try it with cats, won't work. You'd end up in the poorhouse before you'd see any effect...

It actually happened over the weekend but...
I was searching for some information on the internet when google produced a Facebook profile for a name that looked very familiar - that of a longtime family friend who's been out of touch for several years. I sent a message asking if this person was who I thought they were and they replied yes. Considering I'd told Hien quite some time ago that no one I know (outside of TPers) would be on Facebook, I was just proven wrong. It was a total surprise and now there's some catching up to do.

Found this on a blog tonight -

Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end

I was just proven wrong.

Mum was wrong? No. No. How Is this possible? *quivers as foundation block of life disintegrates*

And wotthefigh - that's great!

Amazing isn't it?! But, it has happened before and surely will again. Each time the earth just tilts slightly on it's axis creating those little hiccups like raining frogs, swarms of locusts, triffid invasions, attacks by killer tomatoes and killer clowns (killer clowns are the worst), etc... After a few hours, the earth rights itself again and all is well. Life's foundation is strong. I just recommend staying on St. Helena for awhile longer - at least until that rain cloud passes by - it may rain humpback whales shortly.
