Four things have made me smile:

  • Received our new (renewed) passports the other day. (Oh, to look the way we did 10 years ago...)
  • I passed my real estate brokers continuing eduction test and am licensed for another 2+ years.
  • Got great news from the accountant about the TP Foundation. (It's a secret.)
  • Have been accepted as a member of the Master Brewers Association of the Americas. (Now I won't be just Beerman's guest at the meetings.) LIFE IS GOOD!!!!! ;)

Gretchen,
It sounds like a trip to LAS VEGAS!! is in order for the lucky couple!!

Little Mr. Squishy (aka Doyle) was released from his dungeon in the bathroom (kitty carrier) on Saturday. He has now joined the general population - much to their (sort of) dismay. Actually, he's turning into one very fuzzy squeaky toy for them. He's also learning "NO!" is his real name and the litter box is someplace he gets to visit every time he's within arm's reach. I think the general population tormented him throughout his first night free as he slept most of the day yesterday. (Chances are Moe is telling him we're just fattening him up to eat him for dinner. She doesn't have the nickname Miss Evil for nothing.)

(I found him in the yard about a month ago when he was ~3 weeks old. Seems his mom decided she didn't need to take care of him so I took up the slack. I love when they discover food and don't need bottle feeding anymore. He's now ~7 weeks old so time for his release.)

Oh, and nice try Mike!!! Keep tryin' - ya never know when we might win the lottery and take you up on that offer! (Hey, I won $7 last Friday. WOOHOO!)

Yay for Doyle!!!!! Bet he's cute than ever;) Otherwise, the thing that made me smile the most today was leaving work - hallelujah! Now, hopefully tomorrow will be better than today

Eating the first few mulberries from the mulberry tree I planted a few months ago

Mmmmm - mulberries good!! We have a mulberry tree in our yard. Our goat used to (almost) gorge herself on them. The bluejays love them too. Oh, and so do I.

Chatting with Philly (Pardus) a few minutes ago. It's been awhile but he's doing well and is so happy. Life is taking him in some new directions (again) and I can't wait to see where this new path will lead him.
