We move to London in 3 weeks and l cannot wait - a new chapter!!

I got a mountain bike for my birthday and l love it apart from the saddle sores!!

And right now lm smiling cos lm listening to the house in silence for once only the dog snoring to break the silence!!

I just got a phone call lve got a job interview in London on Monday - YAYAYAYYAYAY after filling thousands of applications one has finally made it through short listing and they are keen to see me, also someone viewed my house today and they are keen to rent it out! And its my birthday - v happy indeed!!

I got the job - its where l wanted, its what l wanted, the salary and benefits package are decent and the holidays are fab very happy considering l thought l buggered it up!!

BUT BUT BUT cos its public sector l have now to wait until they get the green light to approve the position.... why this wasnt sorted before interview l dont know but still no matter what

I only bloody been and gone and got the job!!!

Spending 5 days last week in New York City. I'd never been and it's been years since Beerman's last visit. Now getting ready for a holiday weekend trip to Minnesota. (Not looking forward to the 9 hour drive each way...) But, visiting with cousins and 2nd cousins I haven't seen since 1975 and that was for my aunt's funeral. At least this is a fun trip!

Actually, it's more the fact that I will have made 2 trips in 2 weeks to somewhere other than the grocery store.

I have to work overtime, weekends bank hoildays all for nothing but time off at a later date......
Guess what, that later date has now coooooooooooommmmmmmmme.
long weekend next weekend...Kyaking ????(think the wife is trying to get shut of me) 2 weeks in august (off to see my sister in France) looking at a weekend in Dublin in october.
1 week in the Canaries in September and still 12 days to book...... Just hope the sun shines for the rest of my days..
Wish I had some spare dosh then id go to see Kriss and G..
