In related news I read a few years ago the top 3 things people in the U.K. are afraid of:

1.) Spiders
2.) Terrorists

Can't remember the third.

TP Moderators!!! (We're a scary bunch!!)

The third was the tax man

And I was placing my bets on the Walrus... Damn!

--------------------

Since it's still early, I have to work with yesterday's smile...

On the way home, after collecting Beerman from work, we had another deer in the road, part of a group of three. After they passed, we noticed the flock of about 10 wild turkeys in the field (about half the usual flock). Less than a mile later, I glanced down into a small valley and saw a herd of deer, counting 13 total - though I'm sure I missed a couple. I spotted "our" buck behind our property as we pulled into the driveway.

Sad thing is - deer hunting season (which consists of two weekends two weeks apart) starts today. Someone was a bit premature the other evening and I heard shots as I watched a deer pass through the field next to us. Hopefully they missed and didn't just wound.

Deer hunting season???? Why don't they change it to hunter hunting season and leave the bloody deer alone.
