The musical l saw the other night - WICKED - G it was brilliant! Oh and only 4 more days till the last Harry Potter book is published!!! (Yes l know its sad!)

I thought you'd like Wicked!!! Now, wait a couple of weeks before starting the book as it is much darker and without the humor of the play. I started the book on Saturday - only 4 chapters in but it's definitely nothing like the theater production. I thought I should get it going because I'm hoping for the HP book as a birthday pressy.

-----------------

Looking out the window this morning and seeing the 35 foot antenna tower standing proudly in our yard. (Thank you Beerman!!!!!!!!! You're the greatest - but you knew that already! ;) ) Wednesday will be the real test when they come to mount the wireless receiver on the new tower.

I posted the same post, about men in Iran, as I posted on this site, at another travel site.
A man replied, thinking I am a man. He actually answered all the questions, thinking he was answering them for a man.
He PMed me later, when he realised I am a woman and am not asking such strange, sensitive, gay questions(his description of my questions), as he thought.
The whole mistake made me smile. What man would ever ask questions like the ones I posted.

Last Friday, my door bell rang.
When I opened the door, a guy pushed past me, saying he wants to test the floors.
He rubbed a piece of white paper on the floor. Then he showed me, that the paper now has dirt on it, and said I should buy one of his floor cleaners. As I aimed him out the door, he shoved a flyer about his floor cleaners, in my face.
Today the same guy rang my door bell, and had a flyer for his floor cleaners ready to show me, when I opened the door. I gave him an upside down smile, before shuting the door, without a word.

I'm back to being the Zippie Hippie once again!!!! I love wireless internet!!! The corn across the road can grow all it wants to now and I shall laugh at it. Ha! Ha! Ha!

Ironically, all the hard labor that Beerman put in over the past two weeks getting the 35 foot antenna tower in place will now only hold our TV antenna (which went up on Sunday). Seems the "new and improved" receiving antenna gets a very nice signal from the roof edge just outside my second story computer room door. (The same exact place that wasn't sufficient enough last autumn.) Go fig... I'm told the bleeding, from Beerman banging his head on his desk repeatedly, will stop soon. If we ever have to do this again, I will be sure to ask if there is a "new and improved" antenna before raising another monolithic piece of metal and setting it in middle of the yard.

This made me smile... and the one in bold, especially.

And you wonder why we call you the Mad Mod - you're just evil!!! Poor Beerman - spilling his life's blood on his office floor and you're smiling... In the infamous words of CC - come over here so I can do the lippy rippy offy thing!!!

Weeks of hard labor.....many bottles of pain relievers.........but it has arisen!!!!!!!!!

The TV Tower of DOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!!!! It is the Stonehenge of this century, carved out of solid steel blocks with nary more than a sharpened spoon........took me days just to twist solid blocks of copper into the three-strand rotator wire. More days to create plastic coating for the coax cable. It will live on in the Wonders of Modern Construction Techniques....engineers worldwide will marvel!!

With new and improved reception, we can spy on a certain Mad Mod who takes glee in the pain of others

Please put your shirt back on, boy!!!

An Iranian guy I got a PM from today, made me smile.
He wonders what the complication about travelling in Iran is for us.
He cant understand why we ask such detailed questions.
I explained a few things, about the differences between the West and Iran.
