Quoting Mel.

I bought some end of Summer bargain flip flops.
That will give me an excuse to go someplace war, this Winter.

Never start a land war in Asia.

Oh dear, I left out an M.
I meant, it will give me an excuse to go someplace warm, this Winter.

Now back to the topic: Todays smile.
The guy who comes along a few times every Summer and cuts the tops off the trees around the gardens of our appartment block did not make an appearance this Summer. Every Summer our garden is cool and shady, until he comes along with his tree cutter and turns it into an oven. He thinks he is providing a wonderful service and it costs a kings ransom.

Oooh. And I just saw my cheerleading thread. Thank you, lovely TP people! We missed our whale cruise by 10 minutes this morning because I confused Est with Ouest and ended up an hour into the boonies. You've made my weekend!

Hopefully it will be more of an evening gown than those wretched ones they usually make you wear for graduation!!! You can wear your silver jewelry but i would skip the pearls. ;)

Yeah, don't ask me how I got Hien's number.... I must be going nuts at a faster rate than I thought!

So Isa - PM me your number and I'll call you (at least I think I will - Samsara or Wocca will probably answer the phone )

Marias comment, that as a women travelling alone I would be expected to rent an entire compartment to myself when travelling by train, in Iran. Is there no end to their prudishness.
