Death to the Great Satan (America), death to the Little Satan (Israel).
Behead Danish cartoonists.
Kill Salman Rushdie, kill Bangladeshi feminist writer Taslima Nasreen, kill Hirsi Ali, kill Theo Vah Gogh (accomplished), blah blah blah.

And now, to cap it off -

Woo hoo!

Keeping with the reno theme, the condo company finally sent someone to fix the toilet and the sink. Now that I've got the plumbing all straightened out, I need someone to come and paint. Can I borrow beerman after you, P?

Just kidding!!! Beerman is good at painting as long as it's all one color... Though, his lobster doesn't look too bad at all! Now if you want some character to your rooms then just send the airline ticket to IsaManor, c/o Isa. Have you thought about tile mosiacs??

---------------

I found a gazebo-style bird feeder to replace the one that is quickly falling apart. Just have to add a bit of decorative paint and it will be ready to hang from the pine tree outside the livingroom window.

Oh l quite fancy some of those tile mosiacs - they would look really well in the bathroom!

Ladies, ladies......please, there is enough Beerman to go around.

H: yes, I'm good at stripping................wallpaper. And painting....don't listen to the bad woman behind the curtain. Sure, she paints the scenes and does the tile mosaics, cooks dinner, makes my lunch, cleans the house, takes care of the kids, strokes my chestwig, does the shopping, hhhhmmmmmm, what else? Nonetheless......hardly a full days' work!!

T: I could have done the plumbing, but the air tix never showed up!! Now, how many different colors would you like, for Beerman only paints in multiple colors.

So, back on topic.......I'm smiling because I don't have to go outside today. The forecast is for up to 10cm of snow, followed by freezing rain, then rain. Lovely tropical weather. So it's a sit on the couch day, make pizza later, and play video games......oh, and break into the rum rations.

And Beerman is pleased with H's house renovations. We still have a bit of work to do here, by the way.......

Well, come on down (or up, I guess) - the dang toilet is still making that noise. Dang condo-company plumber and his "oh, I have soooo many places to visit today".

What made me smile today? Having time to sleep (woohoo!), and finding out about all the "budding romances" here...

Finishing up our department lunch (which consisted of lobster bisque, braised beef, beignettes and wine) with a nice glass of Sambuca!

I'll be crashing in a few minutes, but for now I'm feeling very...er...um...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...........

:)
I am happy to see that there are a lot of Christmas trees everywhere.
Last year there was such a shortage that we could not even get one for our house.
I suppose another country payed a lot of money for them because they did not have enough of their own.
The US probably.;)
