Is $4433.00 plus $520.00 "single" supplement to much for a 20 day trip? Which encludes A climb up Kilimanjaro (9days) start to finish. And 8 days going safaris, 3 days before and after resting. They provide and carry everything. I get a guide and 4 porters per person. Airfare NOT encluded
I do not really know whats the price for Kili climb + safari but you can check with The Eriksen Adventure for comparison. I did a safari with them and understand they do also Kilimanjaro.
I will be climbing the same on Machame route "scenic".
I have paid usd $ 1150
Inclusive except for mountain gear and tips I guess
Would like travel companions and yeah, they said there is ample space for more people.

Personally, here's the prices I paid. This was in Jan of 2005. Prices have gone up since then because the entrance fees paid to the government to enter the national parks has gone up, but this will give you some ideas.
Climb Kilimanjaro - 7 days on mountain, plus 3 days in a hotel in Manrangu. All meals included on mountain, one meal on the days in the hotel. Includes a transfer from the Kilimanjaro airport to the hotel, and transfer from Manrangu to Arusha. It was $US 1300. I paid more than other quotes, but liked the company and their philosphy. I used Africa Travel Resource, which uses The African Walking Company locally. I booked it from home.
Safari - 5 days, Lake Manyara (1 day), Serengeti (3 days) and Ngorongoro crater (1 day). Camping safari. Group safari with 5 other people (plus guide and cook). The trip was $US 450, plus I paid additional fees to visit a Maasi village and Olduvai gorge, plus a tip for the driver and cook took the whole thing to $US 480. I booked this in Arusha the day before I went - no problems.
