magykal1 has indicated that this thread is about Spain

Hey hey!

Just bought some flights on a whim in the Ryanair sale (ends tonight, hurry up if you want some). In to Seville, out from Almeria, less than £60 round trip for 2 of us! I get to see Seville and Granada and properly see southern Spain, going early December.

So...

Any suggestions for places to stay in Seville/Granada/Almeria?

What not to miss? (particularly 'off the beaten track' stuff)

Where to eat?

What is the best way to get between them - bus or train?

Is it worth stopping off for half a day in Cordoba?

Both train and bus conections are nice and work fine. I'd recommend train since Renfe new R-598 trains are now operating between these three cities and quality has improved a lot. Price is nearly the same . Anyway it's up to you:

TRAIN

http://www.renfe.es/

Seville-Granada (3 hours): 20,05 Euros
Granada-Almeria (2 hours): 13,40 Euros

BUS

http://www.alsinagraells.es/

Seville-Granada (3,5 hours): 17,60 Euros
Granada-Almeria (2,5 hours): 12,00 Euros

Almeria is a nice place to live but the city itself is not as interesting as Seville or Granada (the desertic area around Cabo de Gata is a different story but thats 30 miles away from Almeria). Concentrate in these two.
