more from the 18 year old Thai guy

Mine? Well I think this is the inevitable outcome of Thaksin's regime. His regime has been marred by Corruption, Interfering with free speech of the media, manipulating the law to accommodate his close friends and families. He also make reckless speech and almost openly challenging the royal family, which is very wrong in the eyes of Thais) So he managed to **** off almost everyone from lower class to those close to the royal family.

I, like many Thai, used to be a supporter of his political party. I used to take the sceptic view of allegation from the opposition about the goverment. However, Mr. Thaksin and government never truely denied with evidence any of the allegations and proceed to used questionable to stop people talking about them (buying TV station, banning certain media, paying Thugs to beat up opposition supporter, which his party got away with due to his link with the police).

Enough is enough... this coup could not have come at better time, as seen by people's support for the coup which make this coup one of the strangest one Ive seen that there has been no bloodshed or fighting while we see extraordinary scene of people posing with Tanks and soldiers on the street.

Nothing's going to happen in Thailand... It's a peace loving country, and I believe violence is not the answer to anything! The coup that happened does not involve violence at all, so no worries and my best wishes goes out to everyone in Thailand! I bet this will be over within just a couple of weeks time...;)
