Sure I've seen tons of drawings on the net about this so called Grand Canyon Skywalk that was suppose to get built, but I couldn't ever get a firm date of when it was suppose to be completed. I've heard January
of this year, September and the 4th quarter. I started to wonder if it was for real. I've read articles stating that no insurance company would ever insure it and many people on the net were saying this was a hoax. Well, I went to the Grand Canyon to find out for myself. I'm happy to say that it is for real. They were completing the frame of it and the next step is to connect it to the edge of the canyon. It will be 4000 feet above the Colorado River and jut out 70 feet from the edge of the canyon! The floor will be made of glass. How cool is that? I wish it was already completed before I visited it. Oh well. I was told of a new date now - March of 2007. At least this time, I know that it does exist.
