i think we are as safe as possible without takin things to far but if there are a group of ppl determined to blowup planes dont think we will ever be totally safe

we are not any safer or in any more danger now as we were then, things are about the same. sure securtiy has been beefed up quite a bit but people still make it through with all kinds of stuff. just yesterday a guy made it through a security checkpoint with a handgun. everyone in security saw it but the guy somehow picked up his gun and was able to walk away. they had to evacuate the whole airport and send everyone through security all over again. so i definetly say no, we are not any safer.

Thanks for ur replies ...

I think there is threat everywer in world, and that nothing can stop people from travelling, but if ppl do believe that they are not any safer, then why do they still travel???

I don't think barracading yourself at home makes you safer - it just makes you live less. There have always been threats in the world, and there always will be. We can beef up security all we want, but there will always be loopholes. I don't want to go so far as to say "when your time comes it comes" (because you have to be at least a little cautious), but you certainly can't make a life by not living.

yeah, im with tina.
the bottom line is, it doesnt matter. life it to be lived, not to be worried over. simply becuase it makes no sense to worry about being alive if you already are. the goal has been reached, now run with it, heh.
