If a revolution of all civilization began tomorrow, would you join in?

Revolution never gives you a warnin'
Revolution never sends you an omen,
Revolution just rises like the mornin'
Bring an alarm we're gonna wake up the snorin'

I'm with Q - it depends what the revolution's about and if I believe in it. They'd also have to serve cake, of course.

On a related note, I was reading through PETA's site the other day for a project, and realized how much "judgemental" (is that the right term?) language they use. They write articles that include such things as "the poor chickens", "desicable acts" or "nightmarish journey" - all of which clearly show the author's opinion on the subject. That's fine for an op-ed piece, but not for investigative journalism. Their revolutionary approach made me want to stop reading, because I coundn't tell actual fact from someone's very radical opinion. Good reporting can move people without resorting to embellishing the story.

It was very bad journalism that would make for a very unbalanced and highly self-absorbed revolution.

What would be a revolution without cake!? Bring on the cake. True also that it depends what the revolution is about. To me it would have to be a complete reversal of "progress" - changing from Capitalism, to Communism, to Fascism.. there is no difference, you still have elite classes ruling. I say no rule, no class, only life. (Idealistic, I know).

I agree with you on the PETA tway, I agree with many of their idea's. Putting an end to factory farming, etc. But the way they write about it doesn't make people want to jump onboard.

EDIT: Adding More

magykal1, yes I am afraid you would have to get off the sofa (chesterfield), for there would be no chesterfields, we would need them for the bonfires.

Surely if there is no rule of some degree everthing degrades into Chaos with everyone out for themselves and the vunnerable in society would end up victims.

I would only revolt if l agreed with the cause.
