I will have to go to Manila and Tagaytay for a training 3 weeks. After that I extend my stay for 2 days 1 night.
Since I will have a training in Metro Manila for almost 3 weeks so Can anyone suggest me the nearby beach to go around Manila? or any interesting place to go or activities to do?
Pls suggest any Ideas
Hi there! Since you will be staying in Manila for 3 weeks,i suggest that you have to hit another place for that 2 days and 1 night..go to ANILAO, BATANGAS, just probably 2 hrs. away from MNL or go to Mindoro, it's a good place too! you can find Puerto Galera and other beautiful beaches in that place.
For you to know more, better yet, search the names of the places, which i've given you, to help you decide..and make a good choice!
I hope it's gonna help you.
If you can get yourself a car (or a companion who can drive you), I suggest you try out the beaches along Laiya, Batangas. Either there, or somewhere along Nasugbu, Batangas. Batangas is basically a 2-3hr drive from Metro Manila, or an hour away from Tagaytay There's this awesome, AWESOME restaurant in Nasugbu called "Dalampasigan" and you should definitely try it out if you're heading that way.
Another option for a drive is Subic. This is on the northern part of Luzon, 1.5-3hrs away from the Metro, still, depending on the traffic situation.
Now, if you don't have a car, feel free to take a bus and a boat ride to Puerto Galera. That's in Mindoro, via Batangas. You ride a bus from the metro to the Batangas Pier (2hrs) then take the pumpboat to Puerto Galera. There are several options there ranging from the busy beach (meaning there are bars, nightlife, red light district) to the more private and tranquil resorts. Your choice will lead you to which part of Puerto Galera you'd want to go to.
If you'd like a taste of history, you can stay in the metro and go around Intramuros for a day, and then take a day trip to Corregidor Island as well. They have a beach there, too, and you can also choose to spend the night there.
If you still have time to spare, go ahead and splurge in shopping! Send me a PM for more details if you want. I'd be happy to meet up with you while in the city, or accompany you in your tour in Intramuros.

Take a look at the new mall on Roxas. This "Mall of Asia" is supposed to be the largest mall in Asia.
I second the trip to Corregidor if you have any interest in WWII history. Neat "sound and light" show.
