Hi there. I just have a question regarding uploading photos to the gallery. I haven't noticed anyone signing or marking their photos. Is this not allowed?
I like to mark mine just so I have the credit if someone feels like taking it and using it for themselves..

I'm doing it, and I know a couple of other people do as well. As long as it's purely a copyright protection credit (rather than blatant "see more great photos at some.spamdomain") or somesuch, I really doubt anyone will have a problem with it.
Personally I think the best protection is simply limiting the resolution of what you upload. That still means all the myspace users will be hotlinking the photos for their background-images, but at least any "real" uses will be limited.

  • looks at what you're doing* Yeah, that should be absolutely fine (and I see you're already limiting resolution as well). Some great shots, btw! That's some amazing light at Buckingham Palace, and I love the bamboo shot. :)

Thanks for the reply! I am surprised at some of the gorgeous photos on here that aren't marked. Shots like those I'd want my credit!
Thanks for the comments on my pics I caught the light on that statue at Buckingham Palace just in time. I didn't get any good photos of the actual Palace, but that's OK because it's not very pretty anyways.

Hi zorse,
I like your signature very much.
May I ask you what program you use?
I'm since long looking out for a simple one, could not find the right one.

thanks
