Are Greyhound bus passes one way only?

Travel Forums Australia / New Zealand & The Pacific Are Greyhound bus passes one way only?

Looking into the Greyhound bus passes. Thing we want to know is if we get the coach from sydney to cairns can we also hop back on the bus and go from cairns to brisbane for example? We want to travel up the east coast but need to get back to Brisbane for our flight out of oz. Would a greyhound pass allow you to do this or would we be better getting the coach up to the east coast then just hopping on a plane to Brisbane?

Decisions, decisions....

Hey niknak,

Greyhound lets you opt for either a concession pass in which you are not allowed to backtrack en route or a flexi pass which is a bit more expensive and does allow you to backtrack, so you can go from sydnay to cairns to brisbane.

Hope that helps, anna xx

Hiya

Yep - that clears things up - I was looking at the Backpacker Flexi pass so that'll be the one

Many Thanks
