Hi,

I'm planning to go travelling with a bunch of my friends - there'll probably be about 6 or so of us. While daily activities are probably not much of an issue, what I would like to know is possible solutions for accommodation where we can stay in the same room or at least close to each other. As we plan on going to Asia, we anticipate we can probably afford to stay in some of the more classier hotels but from what I have seen, max occupancy is usually about 2 or 3 people in each room.

Any ideas?

Depending on the hotel, some might be able to accommodate a larger number of people than the 2-3 usual. You just have to check with the hotel in question. Some might offer those "family rooms", maybe you could consider taking advantage of those. Alternatively, just ask the hotel to place you guys in rooms that are next to each other, whenever possible. If you make arrangements ahead of time, I'm sure they can try their best to accommodate your request.

Book ahead, to make sure all of u can stay in the same hotels.
Is getting 2 or 3 rooms, in the same hotel not close enough? U can hang out together, and u would only have to separate to sleep.
