I know this might seem like a strange question but im going to Australia at the end of November and i was wondering what the situation is with getting the pill over there? I know in some countries you can buy it over the counter? Would i just be better off getting a years supply of my doctor before i go?!?
Im going in Jan 07 and Im just gonna get a years supply from the doctor. It has gotta be easier to do it that way round.
Lol x x
Thanks for your help booboo!!
@ tays - there's two of us goin and i only want two coming back better safe then sorry!
hey the pill is really easy to get down here...
any doctor will give you a script for it for 3 month supply at a time. seeing a doctor doesnt cost that much and loosing that amount of the pill would be truely frustrating.
also see the private message that im sending you about this. just dont want to post my contraceptive habbits in a pubilc forum....
I'd get a years supply. That's my plan - I'd hate to be caught out by not being able to buy them and I'd rally not want to start taking a different make if mine wasn't available, it's not really something that I want to take a chance on!!
I don't know about the U.K (your pill is free isn't it?) but from what I have heard it is a lot cheaper and easier to get it in Australia than in Germany, plus you don't have to carry a years supply around with you.
Im from Ireland so unfortunately the pill isnt free from the replies ive gotten i think the best option is bringing a years supply, especially if they didnt have the brand im using over there, thanks for all the replies, Debbie x x
maybe not the same sort of pill but the ones i get are 30 buck each!
