That's right my fellow Canukistani's! It's That wonderful time of year (that know one really know's why we do it) where people tie up their sleds and dogs for one night to gather round the igloo - we share stories of the dohnut that got away, and brag aboot our superior quality ale (compared to the yankee's, but who doesn't do that?)

Happy Thanksgiving. Also, if you would like a killer recipie for vegan pumpkin pie, or perhaps a delicious autumn vegtable roast, give me a shout. ;)

Ah.. yes, well your classic Pumpkin Pie consists of pumkin, eggs, milk, etc, etc... all of the animal products are replaced in this gem of a pie. ;)

Choclate cake, you can use vinegar as your levaner, other than that you don't need the eggs. Or milk.

Choclate cake, you can use vinegar as your levaner, other than that you don't need the eggs. Or milk.

You can also use apple sauce as a replacement for the oil, amd eggs.

Happy Canucki Thanksgiving!!!! Turkey all around!!!!!

Flax seeds with water can also be used in eggs stead.

Ya hey dere, an' a Happy Tanksgivin' Day to yer, eh!!

I'm shure many a family will be a' gatherin' round the dinner table, eh, and stuffin' themselves busy with beaver cakes, moose mousse, and lumberjack puddin', eh. Gosh, it's gonna be a hootenany of a time, eh?

Vegan moose mousse uses no real moose parts, it's more like boiled lentils and tofu molded into a glob. An' beaver cakes, er, eh, are um, are, uh, mostly vegan.

Woo hoooooo!!!! Oh, but wait... I don't think my Mom's making turkey this year.

But we do have pumpkin pie and a whole selection of fancy cheeses. That's a start!

Happy (mock)turkey day, B!
