Hi i was wondering if anyone could help me out. I'm looking to go to spain Next year but don't really know the first thing about travelling, I haven't done much myself out of the UK.

We want to visit Madrid, Barcelona and to stay on the coast in a resort on the Costa Brava. If anyone has any experience or could give me useful links to sites where i could plan my journey.

Thanks in advance

I travelled in Spain this summer. Its pretty easy to get around, trains and buses are reasonable priced for europe. I love Barcelona its probably one of my favourites cities! Madrid in my opinion is overrated, far to hot in summer and not a whole lot to do there, they do have good nightlife however!
San Sebastian is an awesome beachy town to visit - more bars per square meter than anywhere else in the world!!
Valencia is also nice, good beach and alot quieter than San Seb.
Ive heard the south of Spain is awesome but unfortunately I haven't made it down that part yet!

Hope this helps!

If you are planning to visit Spain next summer, make sure that you're not gonna miss Tenerife, one of the most beautiful places for a succesfull vacation. The lushness of the gardens and the agreeable atmosphere are very special features of this city. The city hourses a number of buildings of great historical and artistic value such as the church of Nuestra Seńora de la Peńa, la Ermita de San Telmo, el castillo de San Felipe, la casa de la Aduana and the old quay where small fishing boats are still moored. Check -snipand you will find out not only all you have to know about this wonderful vacation point but you will have also the opportunity to practice Spanish language throught their language services.

don't miss Barcelona, it's an incredible city with a lot of things to do and see. I live very near from it, and last year I spent a whole week doing tourism there and I can tell you it's a great place in Spain.
I recommend you to visit this site: -snip , where they explain what to do and see in Barcelona.
Hope this helps!

Totally agree, don't visit Madrid (specially in Summer) if you are not very interested in museums or something like that.
Valencia is great, Barcelona is great, Granada or Sevilla in Soth Spain are great.
I was last summer at the "Costa Brava", very interesting, a lot of medieval villages, beautiful beaches and gorgeus landscapes. If you want party, you will also find it there.
