Hello! I would like to know if the Loi Krathong and Candle Festival of Sukhothai will go on this year? It seems many anicent sites are being damaged in the flood. Besides, is Thailand still under the polluted waters of flood? I planned to visit Sohothai in early Nov =(

Good question about the flooding possibly affecting the upcoming Loy Krathong celebrations. I'm sure each community will make every effort to make sure the festival is held as scheduled. Gotta float those krathongs no matter what. But, it certainly could change plans in some cities or villages. All I can say, is check back towards the end of this month and see what the situation is like. Loy Krathong will held on November 5 this year.
