This is just a bit of fun and i am interested to see what people's opinions on this are.

Which city do you prefer?

Which did you find more visually appealing?

Which city provided you with more "good times"?

Which climate do you prefer?

I suppose what im asking is for you to compare the two cities, as they are common rivals and they are alot like each other... in most ways.

Dont take it to seriously though

Sydney and Toronto are rivals? How come? You could understand if they were in the same country but they are a hemisphere apart.

I lived in Toronto, for a year. It was not much to look at, but i had fun there.
I had a boyfriend, from Sydney. He was fun too. But i never actually lived in Sydeny. My money never quite stretched, to visiting Australia.

Im with Mikey - how do you compare to cities who are a world apart - or at least a day when flying!

Ive been to Toronto - it was cold (it was Feb) the folk were lovely, l loved THE KEG steakhouse and l bought my ipod there it was so much cheaper than back in the UK!!

I will be in Sydney at New Year so l will reserve comment until then!!

i've been to both cities and i can't believe they are even being compared! okay, i'm from new york so i'm a bit of a city snob already--so definitely toronto did not impress me (sorry folks!). but i had a great time when i was there, clean, friendly, etc.
sydney, on the other hand, is simply amazing--the harbour, the people, the restaurants, the culture. fantastic! i can't wait to go back very very soon.....

:):)

Not that I have anything against Toronto I actually really liked it, but I just don't think it compares. And that's coming from a Melbournian who considers Sydney to be the "second-best" city in Australia.

I think a fairer competition would have been with Montreal personally. Now that is a cool city. ;)
