Anyone has any ideas why this particular forum scores so badly on mean thread length? All other regionals are between 4.5 and 5.2, this one's at a measly 3.9... Could it have something to do with people just asking their question before looking whether the answer's already there? Any other ideas? I'm sincerely curious!
ps: travelmates forum scores even lower; a mere 2.4

it can also to be with the type of answer that they get, sometimes people would like help and once they have an answer they move on to the next topic, not every thread needs to turn into a huge debate or a lecture... i also find that when i post a question in this forum I more then likely get PM messages instead of a thread answer....
I think that it is possible that there are a lot less people on the board who have been to Central or South America on this board as compared to other locations like Europe (where many members are from), Asia or Australia.
That, and if I post a reply, usually everything you need to know has been answered, and there are no reason for other replies
