Hi guys i know there are heaps of topics on the Schengen Visa here already but i just need some help as to whether my situation needs one.
I am an Australian citizen with an Australian pasport. I am travelling to Europe for 4 months. I will be visiting the following Schengen countries: Austria, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Spain,Sweden, and the Netherlands.
I will be in those countries for less than 90 days in total. If am am entering and exiting each country but with other European countries in between (such as switzerland) do i need a visa?
I am really confused and need to get it sorted out soon so any help would be great.
Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden are all part of the Schengen agreement.
This means that the total travelling time in these countries combined may not exceed 90 days in a 180 day period starting upon first entry into one of the countries.
As an Aussie, you do not need a visa as long as your time spent in these countries combined is less than 90 days.
So from the way you wrote it, you do not need a visa. But feel free to message me or reply here with the exact dates of your travel to make sure everything goes smoothly. I work in Foreigners Office in Germany, I'm capable of calculating things thru for you. I can also help you with the visa issue, if you need it.
