okay, I am on my way out of here. The final random pick for this week is:

Inside I'm dancing (british film)
Dead Man (i think that's the title, it was a while ago - stars Johnny Depp but not blockbuster)
Quiet Earth
the spirit of the beehive
Goodbye Pork Pie

As you see there are only 5 films, I keep one spot open for the DVD Library Geek choice.

I am so looking forward to this, that's even better than going to the cinema and randomly selecting a film.

Thanks to everybody for your recommendations.

Boo! Boo! First come first served! None of this ramdon stuff! See if I watch any obscure Swiss-Irish indie films now...

;)

I thought those were mostly documentaries.......

"The Leprachauns of Bern"
"Yodelling from Moher"

and my favorite of all time....

"Swiss Family O'Malley Visits Newgrange"

Sorry Tweety, my challenge, my rules!!! But there will probably another week where I go and look at the rest of the list.. And anything that has been added to it in the meantime. And Canadian movies sound interesting, after you gave us {goes off to check IMDB} David Cronenberg.

You forgot the all-time favorite docudrama:

Legends of the Fall - The Slieve League Cliff Odyssey

-----------

Sorry - haven't seen any quiet/little/obscure/different/B/uncommon/classic films lately.

But - taken from my last picks for you - have you seen:

The Loved One
Where's Papa?
Alexandre le bienheureux (Very Happy Alexander - International version/Alendander - US version 1968)
