Hey, Im going on a 2 week trip to Paris,Normandy beaches, Rome, Pisa and Florence. I have a digital camarea that I'm taking with me, its a point and shot camera, so i was just wondering how much memory i should bring, and if i should bring little memory cards, or big ones??
any advice you could give me, that would be great
Thanks in advanced --
How much memory you need depends on both how many megapixels your camera is, and how many pictures you tend to take. Heres a link to a page with a cart of how many pics fit on memory cards.
If you don't take too many pictures than you might be able to take enough memory for the whole trip. But if not, don't worry about it. If you run out of cards while on the road all you have to do is head to an internet cafe or photolab and for a cheap price you can burn all your pictures from your camera to a CD. Then you can erase your card and start over again. No problem.
You are going to some extremly photographic places especially Rome and Paris. A good idea would be get a 1GB memory card, and then if you should get the card about 3/4 full with a few days to go on your trip, take the card in and get it uploaded to CD at a camera shop.
